What would be the vaue of a santa fe arms co.(golden state arms) model 1944 i'm guessing it's a british .303 The gun is in excellant condition

hello,,santa fee did alot of conversions to sporter arms of milsurp rifles ,,most i've seen are british conversions,,collectors don't see much intrest in them..but as a sporter for hunting..there usually a good choice for the feild in the early 60's thru the 70's milsurps were being converted to hunting rifles because there were so many inexpencive military rifles comming into the country that santa fee saw the sportsmans need for a inexpencive nice looking hunting rifle and with a new stock and a complete refinishing they appealed to alot of hunters on a budget,,

..value..well that all depends on condition and what someones willing to pay for is ,,when i see them at shows or swap meets there usually in the 125-200 range,,mabey a little more if really nice,,but with so many people buying new rifles these days and wanting the big name companys rifles ,,the old santa fee rifles have become more a novelty rifle ...
