I have a slightly used(I bought new) S&W model 586. Anyone have any idea?

your smith 586 model should be in the 350-500 range depending how the buyer sees the condition,,or at a good auction,,started production in 1981 and i beleive it's still available..

Thank you for the information. I bought this gun in 1983 or 84. I have the initial grips and put on Pachmayer (? on the spelling)grips. Very nice handgun.
