my gun blue book values it at:
exc/375
v.g./325
good/275
fair/200
poor/150
These are for the version 28a
The 28b standard grade with raised matted rib
28c riot gun with 20" barrel
28d trap grade
and in 1931 a model 28-3....an improved version
with checkering and roll marked game scenes on the
reciever.
These are rarer versions and command certain premiums.
the model 21 (original version only had 13000 made and were produced from 1920-1928. (near exact copies of the winchester model 12.)
The model 28 was made from 1928 until 1934 but records are unclear how many were made in total. The majority were standard grade guns of which the values are listed above. I have the same model 28 and its a durable shooter.

Do you know where I might get hold of a parts or owners manual for this shotgun. I just got the gun from my Dad and he ddn't have any paperwork for it. It needs a little work and I'd like to see if I could do it myself.
