hello,,i owned a max 1 1911 copy and never owned a pistol that would shoot any ammo put thru it from reload lead flat points to hardball and hollow points,,i guess theres a bad egg once in awhile but the newer llama i've had were good guns ,,any handgun can be ammo sencitive and sometimes they get a bad name from poor quality ammo,,i have herd of glocks with the same issues with feeding but everybody wants them ,,i think there overpriced and you buy the name and the "coolness" of owning a glock..so if you looking for a good budgit minded handgun i wouldn't shy away from a llama,,!the model your talking about has a book value of between 200vg -275 exc
