Okay,,,Is it
A Type 35
Type 38
Type 44 Cavalry
Type 99
Type 1 or 2 Paratrooper

Lots of Japanese rifles in WWII with variations, need to know markings on top of receiver, matching numbers, dust cover, aircraft sight wings,,sling,,cleaning rod?

Photos would be great, look forward to helping you find out what you have.

As texas badger said, photos will bring you the quickest & best answers.
Photos are easy to post on this forum.
Regardless of which Japanese rifle you have, if there is this mark still visible on the reciever, it is of somewhat higher value than without it.

The most common is the type99.
The basic range for these is $100-300
