hello ,,these older model winchesters are very collectable and can be very expencive ,,but first and formost is the condition ,,from your serial number it appeares yours is a third model and in good original condition book value is 6000 and if excellent books for 14000,,so your best bet would be to get a hands on appraisal from a good knowledgable collector or antique arms dealer for insurance purposes or exact resale value ,,also you could try local larger scale gunshows,,there are usually winchester collectors there that could give you a better idea on condition and resale value..the coty museaum can also do a research paper for you for a fee and with the letter you may find out who and where it was originally sold to..these letters will only increase the values to collectors with the proper provinance..

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. My grandfathers dad bought this rifle from malta and it has a bullfight scene on the left side. I can send you the pics of it if I can get your email. Also I would be grateful if you give me informations about the coty museum procedures. Thanks

Mert
