i have no intentions of selling this gun, but would like to see if its worth anything. it looked to me like the ss # is 145511 the 4 is questinable. But it looked like that is what it is but it wasn't finished. its in perfect working order. i shot it just last saturday. maybe someone can help.

i couldn't find anywhere on the gun make and model, to my knowledge it is a chinese assualt rifle. but really that is all i know about it i might be able to find out the make and model, through my dad, but other than that, i don't know. i am going to post a picture and maybe it will help i don't know.

it's a mosin nagant and looks russian not chinese,,look on the top of the barrel shank above where ya load it and there should be numbers and a date and mabey either a star or a triangle with an arrow in it ,,not concidered an assult rifle though,,does it have a folding bayonet and whats the overall lenght?need to know questions before ya can get a balpark value figure,,

its got a triangle and the numbers are:
4283
B
1926
thats what it has on top of the barrel. it also has a stamp that has SA on it i don't know if that will help or not.

wow sounds like that is a finnish mosin nagant!! Their known to be more accurate and better made... Seems to me you got a steal!!! Easily worth 2-$300 depending on its length.

it looks more like a russian model it was proably finnish captured and then marked with the finish SA markings ,,true finish mosins do have more value than the russian captures and the value yours looks to be in ..id say more like 125-150,,if all matching stamped numbers,,and the bore is good,,the standard model 91/30 rifles are going for around 100 bucks with acc's but with a SA mark you can add 25-50 depending on overall condition..
