What is approx value of a Reminton 720A 30-06. This is one of a series of about 2427 rifles manufactured by Remington from 1941 to 1944 and contracted to the US Navy as service rifles. These rifles were never issued and held as war reserve until released by the Secretary Of the Navy in 1964 for use as prizes in the Navy and Marine Corps shooting programs. The rifle is still in the original packing with remington paperwork such as parts price lists. The rifle has not been unwrapped and is probably a true 100%. Also available is the transfer documentation to the original prize winner.

hello ,,sounds like with the documentation you have for the 720 and the condition it's in to bring 3000- 3500+ to a military collector and possibly more in the right auction situation,, a model 720 without the documentation is valued at around 900-1200 ,,and yours has a very intresting history with the documents to prove it should be at least the above prices ,,i've seen refrence to them but no one gives exact values because of the rarity of them ,,
