my wife has found a small handgun that her father had. she was going through his effects and found this. we do not want it and would like to sell it if possible.

these were made in the 20's and there were 4 different models made ,,the first 3 were chambered for the 6.35 or 25 acp cartridge and values for these models are 150 fair -300 exc..the 4th model was chambered for 7.35 or 32 acp cartridge ,,and the value for this model is 175 fair -375 excellent,,both models are shootable and ammo is available in 25 acp or 32 acp,,condition will be a big factor in actual prices you may be able to ataine,,a gun dealer will proably try to offer in the 100 price range for it if he thinks you don't know what it's worth so your best bet would be a private collector or at auction,,you could go thru an online auction such as gunbrokers .com or auction arms and sell them as from a private collection and have it shipped to a dealer for transfer or you could talk with a local auctioneer and see if he would do it on a consignment ,,if you have anything else from your fathers estate in the military line the auctioneer may be able to help you there also...
