what is a ruger stainless security 6 worth?

I saw one for sale the other day for
$340 which seemed low. They would only sell it to LE because Ruger didn't due the Drop test due to the fact that it has been out of production for quite a while and there wasn't a need (I'm in CA and they are strict) but private transfers are fine, This is what they told me anyway. THAT IS A GREAT GUN! There is an article on the net (wikipedia also) that says that a Range put 1.4 million rounds through that gun with nothing more than simple cleanings..
