i'd estimate your 700 BDL 223 rifle should bring 500-750 at auction or to a varmit hunter,,223 seems to be a very good choice for varmit hunters these days ,,
,,the scope has a used value of around 200-250,,but scopes usually don't add value to guns ,,because dealers don't sell the rifle because of the scope thats on it ..they sell the rifle and if you need a scope they will sell good brand scopes seperatly,,if your selling the rifle sell it as the rifle with the scope optional or throw on a cheap symmons or tasco scope ,,these can be had usually brand new for 30-50 bucks ..and then the leupold scope can be sold seperatly ... the moneys just as good in your pocket as anyone elses ,,if you want include the mounts thats usually a good sale option but like i said i'd sell the leupold scope seperatly,,because to add the 200-250 to the rifles price you may scare some potential buyers away at 750-1000,,just some tips from a guy who's seen both sides of the dealer game ..
