does it have a model number or just the serial number ? model number may have a (.)or a (-) in between the numbers,,

Looking a little closer the number is J.C.HIGGINS "22" CALIBER 126.2831 SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO. MADE IN U.S.A. so there was a period I overlooked no other markings thanks for your reply and info
