What does it mean when a gun has been refurbished? How does it affect shooting and value?

alot of the mosin nagants were factory refurbished which could include refinishing and repairing and bad parts or wood and possibly counter boreing the muzzel,,basically what they did was to curt the last 1" or so of the rifling out of the barrel and recrown it where the cut stopped inside ,,the reason they did this was because feild cleaning would wear out the crown at the end of the barrel,,by counter boring them it did improve the accuracy some,,i see alot of the mosin nagants with the counter bored barrels ,,it shouldn't effect the value much mabey 10-50 bucks if someone wants a uncut varaition..as more original..value for a polish mosin if all matching shoule be around 200-250 depending on yhe arsenal it was produced at..and condition..
