We have a single barrel, 12 gauge shotgun made by J. Stevens Company in Mass. It has a number 1078 engraved on the side. It belonged to my uncle more than 40 years ago. Wondering how old it might be.
does it have a model number on it on the receiver it may be 107B instead of 1078,,in which case they were made from 1937-1958 and would value around 100 mabey a little more if extra clean,,
