Want to know the value of my Ruger M77 ultralight 30-06 with Leupold 3X9 compact scope. Excellent condition with about 100 rounds through it.

hello,,your ruger would value between 500-650 with the scope package you have on it ,,mabey more to someone looking for a rifle ready to hunt with ,,but dealers don't pay much over the price of the rifle no matter what scopes on it ,,they look at it this way ,,they sell guns not used scopes and they have no way of telling if the scope is good or not ..so they usually take a good name scope of a rifle and either sell it without a scope or some will put a cheap scope on the rifle if a customer wants a scope ,,without the scope i'd value your rifle at 450-550,,bealers will offer you proably around 300-350 with the scope or proably without it 250-300 if it's as clean as you say it is ,,you have to remember that a dealer is looking to turn the rifle over and make a profit so he trys to keep his investment to a minimium,,because who know how long he will sit on it before it sells,,

,,your scope would proably sell for 150-200 used ,,so if your planning on selling the rifle i'd think about selling it without the scope or offer it for around 100 above your asking price if the person who buys the rifle wants to pay the exrtra for a good scope ,,or just sell it seperatly at a gunshow or swapmeet,,

hi chez,, i would feel thats a fair price for your package to a hunter looking for a ready to roll rifle with ammo,,i know dealer won't pay that just because thats what he'd proably retail it for set up like it is and you wouldn't get the case sling or ammo with it either ,,
