Yet again I am reading all this crap about stopping power. Thousands, if not millions of people around the world have been shot dead, kaput, deceased, no longer with us, by small calibre hand guns over the last 150 years. But suddenly as a result of change in fashion trends .45 ACP is the only bullet that will stop an assailant. Bull****.
If anyone has any medical or scientific evidence to the contrary I will be prepared to change my mind.
I have read that .22 only kills because it is so slow it drags clothing into the wound, so that the wound cant bleed to cleanse itself, and as a result it turns septic. Septicaemia must work in the blink of an eyelid.
Most of the people who argue that only a .45 will do the job think bigger is better. Tell them to look between their legs to see this is not true. Mind you, they probably have their brains in there, as they don’t seem to exist elsewhere.
I am not knocking 45s. I like them as much as the next guy. But cut the crap.
