hello,,it sounds like you have a late model ppk if it has the eagle over WaA359 ,,the next thing is the finish ,,there were 2 finishes available a high polish and a milled finish,,values for the high polished model would be 500 good,,800 vg and 1200 exc,,the values for the milled finish would be 400 good ,,600 vg,,and 800 exc,,these prices would be at a good auction or to a german or pp collector,,dealers would proably offer you around 400 for either model in g-vg condition..as for dating it ..i know theres sites out there that can somewhat date these but i don't have them handy anymore i had a good site at one time but my computer crashed and i had to erase the sites i had saved when i rebuilt it,,sorry,,if ya search "german ppk serial numbers" online you should get some info on when it was made .. thanks for the very good description.. it sure makes our job alot easier when we know key features ..

Thanks Curt
since i wrote the post i found a Walther owners site
with a lot of very good info, the WaA359 meant that the gun was accepted by the military. the Eagle with the N was a Nazi symbol, meant For modern ammo or Nitro this appeared on pistol manufactured after 1 April 1940 Ill try the Serial number on line,
thanks for the quick comeback
the link is http://www.whog.org/ppk/historypt2.htm
thanks Again
