i've been really enjoying the $10 100 pack of 9mm
but now i see they have a 100 pack of .45 for $19.97 which isnt really that good of a deal since i get s&b for about$9 a box
just wonderin if anybody has tried it or bought any i want to know are the bullets brass like the 100pack of 9mm or copper fmj?
also i'm pleased to see that winchester is selling the dynapoint 22s i guess since kmart is done with guns they jumped over to walmart with that item(good thing cause the winchester xpert was too weak for my semi auto)
it would be neat if the big 3 had some kind of .22 brick war win, fed, rem and got up to 1000 rounds in a brick over time

Someone on another forum said the Wal-Mart in their area (Yuma AZ) is selling 100-qty .40 SW Winchester, brass covered bullets. Maybe Winchester is doing cheap 'white box' ammo in all three calibers?

I'll second the Weak Winchester XPert observation. Recently I wandered into the local K-Mart and was surpised to see both firearms and ammunition back in place, after the foul up following 9/11 when they pulled them from the shelves.

I bought a Saiga rifle in 7.62X51 caliber and have a problem with it. The receiver top cover pops off and hits the shooter in the head from time to time. It may happen once or twice in shooting an 8 round magazine. I have tried re-seating the cover by drawing the bolt back sharply which causes the take down button at the rear of the receiver to move rearward a bit and hold the top cover more securely. Anyone else seen this or have a'cure' for it? It is a real flinch creator after the first time.

I bought one of the Saiga 12 ga shotguns when they first came out. For a variety of reasons (finicky about ammo, mags were hard to insert) I got rid of it. The fella I sold it to started to have the same problem after awhile. The part that actually holds the cover on had broken even though it didn't look broken. Check your rifle against another one if possible and see if it looks the same. The place you bought it should be able to order you a replacement or perhaps send it back for repair.
Highest regards,

Hi, try to check that spring, one which return bolt to chamber after shot. as you already know, back of that spring serve as button for receiver cover. sometimes, spring can be inserted improperly and will not hold cover well. Good luck!

That was a local phenomenon. The KMart nearest me never pulled any guns or ammo from the shelves, and continued to sell both without
