I inherited a Winchester model 1894 with serial number 526328, manufactured in 1910. The rifle is in original condition, with buckhorn sight. The rifle has a 24" hexigon barrel, with the "takedown" feature which allows for breakdown to pack or clean. The barrel and tube have only slightly blemished blueing, while the receiver shows more wear of the blueing. The wood shows some wear, but nothing serious. The rifle shoots one and a half inch groups at 100 yards. I am curious about the value of this rifle. Does anyone have a qualified opinion?
