I have a Winchester model 21/16 guage double barrelled shot gun, single trigger/button select, Serial #11838 on both stock and barrel. Shows some wear on stock, last fired in 1975. It was handed down from grand dad, includes worn but solid original leather case with markings 72D/28 on case top. Case and gun are complete, all work, still has blue metal barrels.

I would love to know value and more about this gun - was told it is quite rare/quite valuable, but after reading some of the posts am scratching my head. Hope the above is enough of a description to be definitive, as it seems there's a great deal to putting some kind of ballpark to it. Is it really that rare and is this a "desireable" piece?
