I recently came into possession of a 1912 winchester shotgun. This gun is unrestored,in fairly rough condition, but seems to be mechanicaly perfect.
The serial # 146481 on both barrel and chamber. The chamber is 2.5 inches, the barrel is nickel steel with a solid rib and 30 inches long. It is marked on the barrel with 12 Gauge, Full. the blueing is worn pretty good, all over, the stock is straight without pistol grip and needs cleaning. The magazine and barrel both have some rust but I believe they can be cleaned up. Okay people, any body know the age and or the value of this weapon? Thanks for any help! Also have undated photos of original owner on hunting trips with this weapon

hi malcolm,
your model 12 was manufactured in 1917. value would require a hands-on appraisel to be of any use. JMHO

Thank you Kim for the info on the age of this weapon.
I'm not looking for a hard and fast estimate of value, just a ballpark figure will do!
