Can anyone help with the value of a Remington Model Four autoloader, caliber 7mm Remington Express. I know this caliber was remamed .280 Remington. The rifle is as new, nice walnut, with box, hang tag, and factory papers. I do not believe it has been fired. The box has some scuffs from handling but no holes or tears. There is a 7mm rem express dummy cartridge base that is presumably factory installed just ahead of the magazine well; did remington always do that with this model?
Thanks

hello ,,your md4 was made between 1981-83 in the 7mm express cartridge ,,yes they did have the case head imbedded in the side and value for one in condition stated would proably range fron 450-650 to a remington collector,,for some reason remington semi's aren't high dollar rifles unless the really fancy engraved models..but yours sounds like it should be at the higher end of the values given ..
