Can anyone give me an estimate value of an old Parker Bros. Double Barrel 20 guage shotgun. The stock and barrel have decorative engraving, and the numbers and dates on the gun suggest that it was manufactured around 1905. The condition of the gun is fair to good. Can anyone help?

hi remo,
i'ld hate to try and guess the value of such a fine gun. a hands-on appraisal is probly your best bet. you can try shotgunworld.com and see if anyone there is familiar with parker bros. shotguns.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the advise. I will check out the website and take it to an antique gun dealer here in town.
Thanks,
Remo

An all original Parker 20ga hammerdun is pretty rare and worth some money. I would need to know the grade , condition and originality to hazard a quess on the value. Some good sharp pictures of the side and top of the receiver would help. The ser# would let me look it up in the Parker records to check originality
