I have a 1895 chileno mauser manufatured in lowe berlin. It still has the long stock (to the end of the barrel). It is in pretty good shape. How much is it possibly worth?

hello,,these mausers were built in germany and exported to chili,,often called contract mausers.. mauser collectors will have intrest in your rifle ,,things that will determine how collectable your rifle is are matching serial number on metal parts ,,markings on the receive and stock and if it's import stamped on the under side of the exposed part of the barrel near the front site,,and bore and metal overall condition ,,if in good original unaltered condition value would be 250 and if extra clean around 450+ to a military collector or at a good online auction with proper listing..gunshop dealers don't really pay much for military rifles because they think there hard to move and get good prices for ,,but actually these are good movers at gun shows and they actually will sell better online than many sporting rilfes..look online at gunbrokers.com and type in "mauser".. don't try to search chiliano mauser just "mauser" and it will give you a good idea of what military mausers sell for ,,i'm sure you will be surprised ..most people have sporterized these old military mausers and collectors do pay preimums for original unaltered examples,,
