what is the value of my Model 94 made in 1896. I am just looking for a range.

hello ,,a model 94 made in 1896 is a very collectable rifle ,,depending on overall condition and originality and the grade it would range ebtween 1000 good-mabey as high as 5000+ excellent or for a fancy sporter grade to a winchester collector or at a good online auction site..we tell people with these old winchester that a hands on apprasial would be justified by a qualifyed winchester appraiser for proper value for insurance purposes ,,the cody museaum will do a research letter for you for 45 bucks and they can tell you the exact details of your rifle,,and the history if any behind it..bigcurt

Thanks. I inherited it and was told that a 2nd cousin has the sister to it, consecutive serial numbers. I will look into the Cody Museum lead.
