What is the value of a J Stevens Firearms Co. Model 56 22 cal. SL or LR Buckhorn Rifle?

I don't know exactly what it is worth, but I traded a bicycle for one when I was 15 and I am now 63 and I still have this rifle. Obviosuly I like this gun.
I read that they were made from 1938 to 1948 without serial numbers and promoted as a youth piece.

hello,,your stevens buckhorn rifle could value from 125 to around 200 depending on condition,,not bad for a bicycle trade back then and i bet it still shoots as good as when ya got it ,,

I bought one at an estate sale last year for $75 for my son. He loves it. I wouldn't go higher than $125.
