hi nellahks,
with side lever and a standard 28" barrel the value would be in the $125 range. a top lever with 34" barrel could be up to $500. there are many variations of iver johnsons so if you could send more info i might could be more accurate in my estimate. but $25 is a great value if all you where going to do was hang it up for wall decorations....JMHO

My neighbor gave me a 32" Iven Johnson, 12 gauge single barrel today. It's not in the greatest shape. The barrel is a bit rusty on the outside, and dirty, but cleanable on the inside. Stocks are broken and taped. But her dad died at 105 yrs old 20 years ago, and he left it to her. It's a dirty boy, but wondering if I should clean it and replace the stocks, or if it would be worth more in this condition. I'd like to be able to shoot skeet with it, but won't fire it in its current condition.
