Hi,

I'm looking at two shotguns both made by High Standard:

JC Higgins Model 21/20 Gauge/Pump/Serial Number 583.2075

NATO-Pintail/12 Gauge/Pump/Serial Number 3078587

Would you know the approximate values?

Thanks

hello either model high standard pump guns would range from 125 fair-good -225 vg-exc,,just not a giant demand for high standards these days and i see them quite often at shows and flea markets for around 150-200,,but just not a quick seller,, when they would come into our shop i worked at the owner would offer around 100 for a nice one and usually get it for that and resell it for 150,,

Thanks so much for the prompt and knowledgeable reply!

A low price is good--I pay less and still get a reliable shotgun.

there good old guns and usually not real troublesome,,some of the semi's can be tempermental but the pumps seem to work good and will bring home the game ,,one of the main reasons these days the older pumps aren't real high dollar is not many people are buying fixed choke guns anymore and everybody seems to want screw in chokes ,,i guess they figure it's easier to change chokes than barrels ,,but that opens the market for some good old guns and quality can be really nice on some of the old timers..
