hi lori ..are ther any other markings on your pistol?it sounds like you have a HI POWER,,but there are some different variations,and even a german one i beleive and a canadian version,,a pic would be good or look for small proof marks that may help determine which version you have..it may be a military version that has more value than a civilian version..
