Value of a Winchester 30 30

I have a Winchester 30 30 that is a 98 series ranger. The first three numbers of the serial number is 630. Can you please tell me the value of this gun?

hello annie,,your ranger would be worth in the 250-400 range used at auction or a private sale,,dealers will offer 150-200 for it mabey a little more if in really nice condition..

Thank you so much for the information. Can you tell me why it has a gold trigger and maybe what year it was made?

i can't give you the exact year of production but can tell you that the ranger series came out in 1985,,as for the gold trigger... are there any other features beside the gold plated trigger? like scroll engraveing on the sides of the receiver,, a saddle ring on the side,,short barrel,,ect..it may be a special run model with extra features..but i'd have to know what other features it has to narrow it down..

It doesn't have any other features other than the gold trigger. No scoll work, no nothing. Just the gold trigger.
