i can shed some light on this some ,, the FJA in the box stood for the inspector who inspected the rifle at the arsenal after production,,in this case Frank J Atwater..the circled P is an assembly proof as are the tiny proofs,,it should also have a dot inside the flaming bomb on the end of the barrel indicatring fireing proof for acceptance,, being it's a remington it should have mostly remington marked parts,,these will have a small R stamped somewhere on them and will include the bolt, the saftey the cutoff lever,,the bands,,the triggerguard will be stamped usually inside,,the sites the follower.. ect..if it's an all correct rifle with a good bore with the right parts. for insurance replacement value... i would put it at 800-1000..there are many sites out there with tons of information on the old war horses that might show you the things to look for to determine the correctness of this rifle..current book values for this rifle are 250-750,,and trade in value would be somewhere in the 200-400+or- with the average gunshop or gunshow dealer.
