hello,,, alot of police depts used colts and s+w's from this time frame ,,only problem is in your time frame i would guess that it would have been chambered for the 38 s&w or 38 new police cartridge,,but in any event prices for the model33 regulation police modelwould range between 200-300 depending on condition ,,if police dept marked it might bring a little more to police collectors or someone who grew up in the aera it marked property of ,,
