I have a 7 mm mauser that i have had for quite a few years. It is not a very long barrel abd has a metal butt plate. It reads deuthce waffen und munitions fabriken berlin on the rear housing the serial number is c7062. It has a laminated stock. I would like to know if it has any value. Any information would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you.

hello your DWM mauser is proably an export model made in germany for another country,,possibly spain or a south american country,,is there anything on the top of the receiver ..like a crest orcoat of arms ?is the bolt numbered the same as the receiver?are there any import marks near the end of the barrel,,may be very small letters ?are ther any signifigant markings on the buttstock?how long is the barrel ?just some things i need to know before i can venture a guess on a value,,but yes a military mauser can sometimes be worth more than sporting guns and there is alot of collectors intrest in them !but ya gotta figure out what ya got and who it might have been made for,,
germany used more 8mm's than 7mm and usually the 7mm's were export versions ,,a pic would sure be nice
