Can anyone help me find the value and manufacture date on a Marlin 336 30c lever action rifle. Model #25165707. This gun was bought for a friend as a boy, 60's or 70's,original box, never has been discharged, and walnut stock. Thanks

I don't understand the Model #2.. given are you saying that's a serial no? And id DOESN'T have a letter or two prefix? I can pull Brophy' book if you say it does not since I'm confused.
