winchester 64

i have a winchester model 64 serial 1092799... i would like to know some history and value. It is my great grandfathers

the model 64 was an improved model of the 55 winchester ,,it had a larger magazine and pistol grip stock..they made it from 1933 till 1957 and serial numbers ran concurent with the model 94 serial numbers which would put it being made in 1935 i beleive ,,for the standard rifle model values range between 350 fair -around 1200 excellent mabey more to a collector or at auction ,,there were also carbine models made with a 20" barrel and prices are roughly the same or a little higher depending on condition... and a delux model with some extra features with sites and calibers that may demand more value wise,,there were 67000 made in the early years ,,in 1972 the 64 was reintroduced and only made till 1973 and prices for the newer rifles seem to be a bit lower,,
