Update: My Winchester Model 1912, 12 gauge shotgun with the serial number 84185 (found on two parts), was, made in 1915 (thanks for the info Twobit). It has a solid rib down the top of the barrel. The barrel is at least 30 inches, and the chamber is 2 3/4 Full, The Solid wood pump grip has an inverted pyramid design with checker like hatch marks. The pistol grip is screwed on and has this same design in the very dark wood, above the grip, the inverted pyramid checkered design is repeated. The wood is very dark with no damage. At the end of the butt there is a red-rubber like shock absorber with diamond cut outs--it is stamped "Hawkins".....The Barrel bluing is 99-95 percent with a couple of very small lighter spots. The chamber bluing (the area above the trigger from the butt to the barrel has lost most of its bluing). Does anyone have a high low price estimate, and is the duck, skeet or trap model? It’s not diamond…super-field? Thanks so much!
