do ya have the serial number of the rifle ,, my books list the 1891 and 1893 as chambered for the 38-55 cal,,can you tell me how the barrel is marked and the rear tang,,and does it have case colored hammer and lever and buttplate?

It's marked 38W. Yes they are and the butt case is black
