Curious as to what would be a good purchase price for an Underwood M1 carbine that appears to be in fair to good condition.

underwood carbines ,,if original and untouched by rebuilds could range from 600 good -1500 exc,,but carbines almost all saw the arsenals for a rebuild at some time or another and untouched examples are few and far between,,rebuild carbines if not import stamped can range from 500-800.. at some point underwood used parts from just about all the major manufactures and some parts may be stamped unquality which was a merge of underwood and quality hardware,, Underwood is definatly not the most common carbines out there but not the rarest either,,if you can buy it for anything under 500 it's a steal from a dealer or private party,,

...the CMP i beleive is still selling carbines and last time i checked you could get decent ones for around 300-400,,and if your close enough to a cmp store you can go and hand pick one as long as you meet the requirements ,,requirements are on there site and there fairly simple requirements ,,so theres another option if your looking for a ww2 or korean war era carbine,,do a search on CMP and you should get some hits
