Uncle has produced a US Rock Island Arsenal 1903. All original. Good to very good condition. Any info about it or the value is appreciated. Also another 1903 with US Springfield Armory Stamped on it. Very good to excellent condition and again all original. Thank you

hello ,,you have 2 very collectable 1903's there ,,the first rock island is proably the most valuable and dependin on the yera stamped on the barrel it could value between 700-1200 if as nice as you say it is ,,the other springfield model is also good and value for it would be between 650-1000 again depending on correctness ,,there are sites devoted to springfields and worth doing some surfing and researching because these prices could go up depending on the history you can find and the originality of both these rifles ,,a friend in the service of mine purchased a rock island about 6 months ago and he knows springfields and didn't blink an eye paying 1000 for it because it was correct and 1 of the harder years to find ,,so there are buyers if your looking to sell..but like most military rifles correctness means $$$ ,,things like correct barrels to serial number mean alot ,,also handguard and stock markings ,,also bolt markings ,,band markings,,trigger markings ,,floorplate markings ,,ect everything has to be correct to the rifle to acheive the high end prices ,,ther are books written by i beleive joe poyer and publishe by north cape productions i beleive that could help you id you rifles parts and are available online both new and used for around 20-25 bucks that would be very helpful in determing how correct your rifles are ..money well spent to make money,,your uncle has a couple very good rifles !
