I have a UMC2 .22 cal.made in 1972 and it is in fair condition.Serial# u2585.Any one Know any thing about this gun manufacturer?Thank you.

are those the only marking on the gun ?anything on where it was made ? state or country?? UMC is a sister company of remington and i'm wandering if it may have been something remington tried ,,how did you determine the year of manufacture?,,and do ya have a pic you could post?

It also has M1969 Romania on the barrel.I am thinking that it may of been a training rifle.I no longer have a digital camera.My son lost it.Am unable to send a picture at this time
