I am looking for the value of my model 1911 Army issue 45. It was gifted to me in 1974 by my father in-law who carried it as his MP side-arm during WWII. The serial number 21364 has confirmed the 1913 manufacture date. To my knowledge the only replacement parts are the grips which I replaced myself. My father in-law had clear plastic grips made so he could put family pic's behind them. I still have those also. Also, the serial number is preceded by the alpha letters NU. I have not been able to determine what significance this has. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
