trying to find out what caliber my rifle is it is a model 94 winchester 30 ser# is 1274574

made around ww2 and during ww2 production serial numbers are not available ,,theres a grey area from 1221289 =1943-1948 when productions serial numberes resumed at 150000,,it's proably a 30WCF cartridge which is more commonly refered to as a 30-30 winchester ,,

I'm trying to find out what year my rifle was made in can you help me? It's a WINCHESTER/ Model 100/ 308 caliber/ serial number is 138677.

That should be real simple to figure out. On the left side of the barrel just below and behind the rear sight you should see what appears in the photo below. It will be either the 30-30 Win or .32-WS. This rifle is from that same time period. The 94 had been offered in .32WS, .32-40 and .38-55, and .30-30 until 1938. Afterwards only the .30-30 and .32WS.
