this double barrel has springfeild j stevens J V no serial # the main part of the gun is differant colar of steel like a red tint

hello,,yes springfield and stevens are basically the same except the springfield line is there budgit minded line no thrills shotguns ,,the metal your refering to is proably case colored ,,should have blues ,,purples and reds in a swirle pattern on the receivers
