The Fight That We Face

The election are only two months away and there is a lot to do.

I view the entire process of choosing the VP candidates on both sides as a process that serves the purposes of the NRA and all the people that fight for gun ownership rights. There are two clear sides and pro gun ownership rights and against.

The main fight as I see it is to target the people that are puting the fight for gun ownership rights lower on their priority scale. I’ve already heard gun owners saying that they would vote for Obama as they like him much better than McCain and hope that the price they’ll have to pay on the gun ownership issues won’t be too big.

If anything I persoanlly feel that the NRA shoud focus the effort on explaining to many of the gun owners that are no so active that they can’t really compromise here.

As gun ownership rights is one of the issues of the elections and not even in the top three most discussed ones this should be the focus of the efforts. At least to my humble opinion.
