I have a sword and scabbard that I am trying to identify. What little I have found suggests that - if it is original, and not a reproduction - it was made by The Pettibone Mfg Co, Cincinnitti, Ohio, c.1903.

Here's a link to pics (My Photos, Sword):

I'd appreciate any knowledgeable input, or a lead on who to talk to.

Please email me directly if you would.

TIA,

Bill

Fairly common. Not anything to get worked up about. Plus, it is missing the grips.

It appears to be a Fraternal sword of some sort. Knights of Columbus? Knights Templar? Masons? There's a ton of them. Here's a start: http://www.historicalweapons.com/societyswords.html
