S&W model 41 target pistol in .22 long rifle caliber, 5.5" barrel. Purchased brand new 3 years ago and never fired. Still in new condition with box and papers and three S&W magazines. What is the most I'm likely to get from a private buyer?

Wow! That sounds really cheap. A new one lists for $1288.
(And if you've got a bunch of them you are selling for that amount, I'd like to buy the lot!)

Based upon current asking prices on GunBroker, Guns America and Guns International you should be able to realize $800+ all day long!
