I have a Steyr pistol with W-N14 marking and serial number 1012 wondering what year this is and what is it worth?

what caliber and is this an older model or something that looks modern day?i can't seem to find anything with the above markings,,they didn't make alot of pistols model wise..so it's kinda limited to which one it is but they made guns around the turn of the century and also newer modern stuff

Mr.Bigcurt, My dad got this pistol in world war II for a pack of smoke's. The pistol look like the Steyr- Hahn commercial model 1911 or the army model 1912. Also I think the chambering is a 9x23mm or a 19x19mm parabellum but i can't locate a marking of wn with a eagle 14 on the web site. Thank you for the help.

thats pretty cool,,he got it for a pack of smokes,,cool..well the germans did rebarrel some of these for police issue during ww2 but these will be marked P08 on the slide and they were chambered for the 9mm luger round,,military pistols will be marked only STEYR and the date ,,commercial models are marked Osterreichische Waffenfabrik Steyr M1911 9MM on the slide ,,the military version books for 400-550 and the commercial version books for 500-1300,,the police marked P08 slide is valued at 350-700,,if not marked with the P08 slide i would say your right on with the 9x23 steyr ammo,,nice keepsake for a pack of smokes!!
