Can anyone name, say, the top 10 states as far as lenient gun laws go? I come from Arizona and am now living in California. Just wondering if anyone has ranked the states in terms of their gun laws.

I think that the NRA web site has some charts that provide the type of information you are looking for. From what I've read in this NG, I'm pretty sure that California, New York, and New Jersey have some of the toughest gun laws; and if I remember correctly, New Hampshire has some of the least restrictive gun laws. Pennsylvania is also a state with relatively few laws. I'm sure you'll get lots of responses to this question...

The not so good news is that your leftist dominated state is in the 5 worst.

I think you mean Vermont. But New Hampshire is, for the nonce, very good, too; also Maine, to a bit less extent.

#Suprisingly, our enemies have done that job very well for us. The #Brady bunch or whatever they're calling themselves these days gave a #ranking from A or A- all the way up to F or F-. All you need do is #reverse their rankngs, with the F states being the most gun friendly
You can't count on this because they don't know diddly. They could rank a state high for prohibiting guns made from cream cheese. (You could evade metal detectors that way.) Richard Allen

I don't know where these ratings were compiled, but I think that Arizona is getting short changed. CCW is 'Shall Issue', and as far as I have been able to determine, it is about the only place that open carry, in fact, not theory, can be, and is done on a daily basis by honest citizens. A while back, I posted this very question on this group. The answers mostly went something like, 'Well, here in my home state of

i would rate Indiana Above Kentucky.. We are shall issue and we don't have any pesky limits ( state wide) on where you can or can not carry.. like Kentucky and bars..
#3. KENTUCKY (99) #4. WYOMING (96) #5. MISSISSIPPI (95) #6. GEORGIA (93)
