I was wondering if this is an original 1903 or if it has been modified. If it is original what catigory would it fall in.I think this gun is either a 1903 Sporter or the 1903 Free Rifle Type B. The serial number is low (337334) so I think this would be Pre-WWI Mfg. The reason I think it might be the 1903 Free Rifle Type B is the cheek piece stock but not sure if it has double set triggers or a modified firing pin. I would like to know what this gun would be because of the big differences in price range. I love this gun and just bought it two years ago off of a friend for $300 dollars. I do not want to sell this gun but would love to know what type of 1903 it is. Please help me out with a little info! The book of info that I used is the Blue Book of Gun Values by S.P. Fjestad Twenty-Eighth edition.
