Hi - First off, nice sight here. I've just joined. I'm trying to find out what one of my guns is worth. Yes, I want to sell it.

It's a pistol that was bought new back in 1985 by my father, then given to me. It's been sitting in a safe ever since, except for occasional oiling. It's never been shot and is in brand new condition. It's a Colt .45 auto Hartford Police Special Edition, only 146 made. It's blued, rosewood grips with custom medallions depicting the city seal and state seal, gold inlay along both sides of the slide with the Hartford Police name, seal, etc. The gun is in a red felt lined custom oak case.

I've Googled this gun but come up with nothing... Any help in how to find the value of this gun would be appreciated.... stinky

Thanks for your help. I checked out the link you gave me but still no luck. It's like this gun never existed, ha-ha.
